How to Create Your Own Heading in Blogger

I was growing tired of my old heading picture for the Second Grade Nest, so I decided to upgrade my entire blog and I'm going to help you guys out at the same time!

My instructions use Windows and PowerPoint, so if you're a Mac person, odds are you will need to follow different directions for this.

Step 1
Open a blank slide and resize the Page Setup.

Step 2
I resized the 2.8x11 because if I did any smaller than 11, it wouldn't fit the whole frame at the top of my blog. If 11 turns out too big for you, just resize this after trying it out.

Step 3
Add the images and words that you want for your header and save.

Step 4
Make sure to save this slide as a JPEG.

Step 5
Go to your blogs and click the pages button.

Step 6
Once that drops down, click Templates

Step 7
Click where it says Layout.

Step 8
Click Edit

Step 9
Upload your new picture.
Click to Replace title and description.

Step 10
I had to play around with these sizes until the header at the top seemed to match up my blogging body underneath.

And finished!
Here is the updated product!

I hope this guide helped you!!

Now that you've made it through a blog header tutorial... check out this link-up with over 100+ products for the month of February!!

  2. Wow! You did a great job explaining that. I'm not 100% sure, but I'm pretty certain that it would work for a Mac, too. I create a lot of stuff using PowerPoint. I actually like PowerPoint on my Mac more than my PC.
