Groundhog Day Work

My new blogging pal, Faith Wheeler, and I decided to flip flop Groundhog packs to use in the classrooms.
She gave me her language review pack to use for my class and I gave her my craftivity and writing unit.

Let me tell you about Faith's AMAZING Groundhog pack.

Let me start by saying that this is going to be perfect for my room because we just took MAP language assessments and my students language skills are seriously struggling. This is a great opportunity to practice their skills without reteaching every tiny little piece they need help with.

Back to the basics- categorizing. This will help my low kiddos with their thinking skills.

Root words.
We are working with prefixes and suffixes these last few weeks, so this will be a great review, too.

ABC Order pages

Dictionary Skills! Massively important for my kids!

And a WHOLE BUNCH of writing work.

What I am going to do is copy these into a front/back packet and let the students work on it as they finish their assigned work. This will be great for early finishers. I'm incredibly eager to get these started next week.

Check out Faith's blog, too! She is always writing funny and witty stories and has TONS of freebies.
She will be review my Groundhog packet today as well. Check it out.
